Refuse Rude!

Quite simply put – stop giving your valuable time and money to providers who are rude.

How often do you buy a coffee and get a rude or disgruntled waiter? What about when you buy petrol?
Or my favourite, the over-self-interested gen Y fashion retailer who thinks that baby boomers are the
slaves to work hard just to serve their generation?

If each of us took responsibility to stop giving our money to businesses whom are rude, their business would soon go bust.

If each of us took responsibility for stating that being rude is not acceptable in any trade, than the process of trade would markedly improve it’s quality.

Of course the flip side is to recognise how you are servicing your customers?
Are you welcoming, available, attentative and honouring the value you sell and the price you charge for it.

We’ve all heard how a satisfied customer will tell one person and an un-satisfied customer will tell ten people. But how many customers tell you they are unsatisfied? And how often do you tell your provider that you are unsatisfied?

We all quickly state, oh – if only I knew they were unsatisfied? Don’t wait to find out, consistently provide service with a smile.

And simply state to a rude provider ‘i’m not willing to give away my valuable money on your poor attitude, poor quality or poor service.’ thanks for saving me $xxx, I’ll invest it well elsewhere!’

Smile and walk away.

A good place to start – the petrol station! How nice were the days when you had your windows washed, petrol pumped and a friendly smile?

Why did this change? Why do we let the government take a cut, why do we pay more to pump our own petrol?

In a small suburb in Canberra the Fisher BP still provides window washing, pumping and full service every day with a smile.
They would be one of the busiest Petrol stations in the country. Customers go out of there way, wait in a q down the road quite simply because it is a rude free, and enjoyable trade.

You spend hours earning your dollars, now spend minutes being conscious to enjoy it, and change industries!

One step, one person, one moment, all together will change.
