The Naish Bar

In Melbourne the last week of January 2009 was filled with scorching temperatures causing roads to literally melt, train tracks to buckle, blackouts across the state, raging bush fires and one very pissed off long haired Burman cat!
In an effort to stay sane we went our local beach everyday! Living in Port Phillip Bay is awesome for Stand Up Paddling; well, at least when the southerlies aren’t blowing.

On one particular night is 43.4 º / 110.12 ºF at 6.30pm. We’d already gone for a paddle out past the break, and just needed some cool off time. So i grabbed the esky, the fluffy stubby holders and mexican beer – laid them out on the paddle board for everyone. We spent the evening watching the sunset while floating and drinking ice cold beer useing my Naish 11′6 SUP Board as the bar :)

Like i say.. Life is beautiful.
